Morgan Mueller
Product leader who designs and builds
I work across the whole stack of the product job — leading discovery and roadmap, designing the interface and the system behind it, and writing the code that ships.
Most of my work centers on data-heavy products: public dashboards, decision-support tools, and the design systems that keep them coherent as they grow. I’ve owned high-traffic products end to end and care most about the ones that stay usable and maintainable years after launch.
What I do
Product Leadership
- Discovery, framing, and roadmap ownership
- Stakeholder alignment across policy, research, and comms
- Scoping and shipping under real constraints
Product Design
- Interaction and information design for complex data
- Design systems and reusable component libraries
- Accessibility as a first-class requirement
Product Engineering
- Front-end build in React, D3, and Vega-Lite
- Data modeling and pipelines behind the interface
- Architecture built to be maintained, not just launched
How I work
I like to hold the whole thread — the problem, the design, and the implementation — rather than hand it off at each seam. In practice that means prototyping early, designing the data model and the UI together, and treating the codebase as a product surface that has to last. The result is products that ship faster and hold up longer.
